About Me

Ever since age 6, when I penned my first "book" — titled Suzie and the Unicorn — I've loved to write.

Fifteen years later, I graduated cum laude from Boston University with a degree in journalism. After four years as an honorary New Englander (and four long New England winters), I returned home to Dallas, Texas.

Since then, I've been lucky enough to make a living doing what I love. I've written about people (those famous and those not-so-much), entertainment, travel, business, fashion, products and more. No matter the subject or the audience, I think it's important — no, imperative — to relay a story or idea in a way that's accessible and enjoyable to read while still being informative and informed.

I've worked on staff for numerous magazines (two of which I helped launch) that have ranged in reach from local to international. I've worked for editors as well as custom business clients, tailoring my work on a case-by-case basis. I've also co-authored books, matching my voice to the creator's vision and the publisher's demands as needed.

If you already have something written but it needs some fine tuning, I also edit stories of all manner of subjects, tones and lengths. My depth depends on your needs — be it a simple copy edit or an editorial overhaul. Either way, I'll be sure to handle your words thoughtfully and with care.
